Stephanie Chan '19 is a rising senior at Brown University. She is a neuroscience major from sunny San Diego, California. As the GlobeMed GROW Internship Coordinator, she enjoys empowering the young girls of the Kuza Project through education. In addition, she loves leading backing packing trips, practicing yoga, and working out.
Sai Kurapati ‘21 is a rising sophomore at Brown University from Pennsylvania planning on studying Health and Human Biology on a premed track. She is a GROW 2018 intern through the university’s GlobeMed organization where she serves as the Director of Campaigns. Sai is someone very passionate about empowering young women and advocating against power and health disparities. She also loves meeting new people and dancing in her free time.
Isaac Nathoo ‘21 is a rising sophomore at Brown University from New Jersey. He is studying biomedical engineering and hopes to go to medical school one day with the goal of increasing the availability of healthcare. He a GROW 2018 intern and is specifically working on the Kuza Project through GlobeMed. He enjoys swimming, playing soccer, and traveling to new places. He is passionate about health equality and empowering the local youth.
Subhanik Purkayastha ‘21 is a rising sophomore at Brown University studying Computational Biology on the premed track. He is a 2018 GROW Intern and serves as Co-Director of Partnerships. He is very interested in global and public health and enjoys learning about new cultures, languages, and places. He believes in the power of the youth, health equity, and education.
